Mikrotik routers automatically save logs in memory and it will be cleared on every boot.
If you save it to HDD, it will be full soon...
So how to save the Mikrotik router's log permanently or delete on our own demand. someone may add a script to send to email. It is not bad but a little annoying.
Here we share a way to make mikrotik send logs to Synology server and check it instantly.
1, Open winbox and login , choose System- >Logging
2, Set remote address as your server address
3, Choose which information built-in that you want to check
Then open browser to login to Synology server
1, Click "Log Center"
2, Log receiving -> give it a name
3, Arhive Settings -> Create a folder for arhiving the logs you can also limite the file size.
4, You can check from "Logs" or Overview now.
